Our company has had the "Environmentally friendly packaging" trademark from the beginning of 2008, thus by the manufacturing of biologically degradable and compostable products it entered the especially important group of ecological Hungarian producers. Nowadays, a wide circle of customers keep the national economic and environment protection aspects in mind when shopping, and as long as it does not present additional costs they choose products with environmentally friendly packaging.

The "Symphony d2w" additive, added to the polyethylene raw material makes the shopping bags, pouches and sacks made from it environmentally degradable. The degradation of PE products containing "d2w"-t takes place with the combination of oxidisation and biological degradation. The storage conditions, field of use and characteristics of the products (e.g. carrying capacity, optical characteristics) are identical to that of the packaging made from petroleum based polyethylene without additives or from other plastics. A fundamental difference is that the degradation of the material of an
" Environmentally friendly product" in the solid waste disposal site of a settlement or in nature commences as an effect of sun light, moderate heat, water and air, then the disintegrated molecules of the polymer turn into biomass as a result of microorganisms. It is possible to set the degradation time, but it takes no more than 18 months. Its environment loading effect is much smaller compared with traditional products and it presents no health hazards.

Storing and handling the product, stability: The shelf life of the product under normal storage conditions protected from sunlight and artificial UV and below a temperature of 30oC, is the same as packaging made from biologically non-degradable plastics. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. The product, under general storage conditions as above, is stable.
